The fourth Thursday of the November month is observed as the Thanksgiving Day. However, American takes the next day Friday also a holiday and enjoy the four-day weekend with their family or friends at a long distance.
They also plan a short visit to some interesting place on this weekend. This is the true national holiday that was celebrated in 1621 and even today the customs and the spirit endowed on this day stay unaltered.
One rough winter killed many and the neighboring Indians taught the skill of planting crops and corn. The next harvest inspired to hold a feast as Thanksgiving Day and this slowly took the form of a national tradition. By sending flowers on Thanksgiving Day, it is made remarkably memorable.
