 ‘Mum’ this name was the nickname originally for chrysanthemum. Later on this name got shifted from chrysanthemum genus to the scientific name dendranthema grandiflora. Button mums are one of the types of mums that have ball-shaped flowers. These button mums are identical to the pompon mums shape and come with smaller as well as tighter petals.
